Creation of an Effective Recruitment and Retention Plan

Successful recruitment and retention is the life blood of any hospitalist practice. Although the hospitalist field has experienced enormous growth in the last decade most programs continue to experience difficulties both recruiting and retaining quality hospitalists. There are a number of reasons for these challenges which HPS is intimately aware of. There are also a number of strategies and tools that can be employed to provide your program with a competitive edge. HPS will work with you and provide definitive staffing solutions. Creation of a recruitment, orientation, and retention plan tailored to your program is an excellent tool to support staff stability. This plan addresses recruitment of both hospitalist and spouse and also provides tactics to support retention. It choreographs the recruitment, hiring, and orientation process. It also provides collaborative approaches throughout this process which will help you to identify the appropriate candidate for your practice and support buy-in from key stakeholders.

We will also interview candidates by telephone and provide you with a detailed assessment. HPS is not a recruitment firm and does not locate candidates for your program.
